What is SAP UI5 ?

To overcome the complexity of SAP traditional GUI one new module has been developed which is SAP UI5. SAPUI5 is the next generation of Web Dynpro ABAP and the latest SAP interface technology. Working of SAP UI5 application 

SAP UI5 have back-end, front-end, and intermediate system. 

Back-end system

As a back-end,SAP Systems which include ECC or SRM or CRM is used. So user is able to store and fetch all out records here. It consists of ABAP items consisting of Tables, Classes, RFC, BAPI’s etc.

Intermediate system 

As an intermediate between front-end to back-end there is a system called Netweaver Gateway Server. Here user can write all database queries and other back-end side logic.Then all the records will come to Front-end from Netweaver Gateway. 

Front-end system 

SAPUI5 utility is used as the front end.It will have all UI elements with the intention to show in browsers and in every other device.
